VIVID-9 Trifecta buffing pads feature a 6-inch overall diameter pad for use with a 4- or 5-inch backing plate on a single or dual action buffer. These pads feature carefully cut triangular notches that allow for cool operation while providing maximum polishing capabilities. The specifically designed super soft hook and loop backing pad dissipates heat generated while buffing allowing for cool/long-lasting operation. The beveled edges are a safety feature that help keep the backing plate from accidentally coming into contact with your vehicles paint, especially in tight areas. Medium Cutting Pad Step 2
This pad is the second step in the polishing system. The orange medium cutting pad is very dense in construction and is designed to effortlessly remove swirl marks, water spots and other paint imperfections. This pad is aggressive enough for most applications on factory clear coat systems. Always follow this pad with a less aggressive pad/polish combination to maximize gloss and surface smoothness.
